“ This place has the BEST Asian food in the area!!! The menu is large--from sushi to pad Thai, you can order pretty much anything. The pad kee mao is my favorite but the sushi, hibachi, and pho are all stellar. It seems like almost every dish is customizable (you can choose your meat, spiciness level, etc). Many vegetarian and pescatarian options. They also serve a variety of beverages, both alcoholic and nonalcoholic. The restaurant itself has a lot of character. If you arrive before the sun starts setting you can eat on the outdoor patio that overlooks the lake. There's also plenty of parking. The servers/staff are so friendly and knowledgeable. We've had JD as our server a few times and he rocks :) This is an authentic local restaurant, so be prepared for some slower service and cook times. We typically wait a little bit longer to receive our food (compared to other restaurants in the area) but the wait is SO worth it. ”

Don't be intimidated by the x-rated neighbor, Chopstix shares the shore of one of many of Gainesville's beautiful waterways. Eating while admiring Florida's iconic wildlife--feathered and scaled--is an incomparable experience. If outdoor seating is too hot or too crowded, you get to enjoy the same scenery from the vantage restaurant's indoor seating through their many windows. ”

“ My family and I came in on a busy Saturday and was seated right away. Our servers were personable, attentive and friendly and my family reveled at the service we received. We were there for two amazing birthday celebrations and the atmosphere was so family oriented that everyone wished the birthday boys a happy birthday as if everyone was family. We had the Thai garlic wings for an appetizer, they were superb! Our entrees were beyond delicious and my picky son devoured his veggies FIRST of all things and teriyaki chicken and rice immediately after. I had the oxtail soup and the oxtail was plentiful, tender and so well seasoned.I requested a heavier spice level and they nailed it to a "T"! I will always recommend Chopstix as a MUST VISIT for those visiting Gainesville. Titi made us feel like family and that really put the icing on the cake for us.Thank you, Chopstix family! “ Our dinner started out a little iffy. The wait staff was no where to be found for the first 10 minutes our group was seated. The AC was not on and we were debating if we should leave. Thank goodness the servers surfaced and took our order. The chicken wing appetizer was delicious and so were the gyoza. Everyone's dish came out hot and it was delicious. If this review was to be based on the service it would be a 2 but the food made up for the poor service, so it gets a 4. ”
